Dan Murphy’s liquor store in Frenchs Forest needed a noise absorption solution for their rooftop HVAC unit. Equally important was ensuring an aesthetically pleasing structure for surrounding residents.
Having provided six AcoustiSorb rooftop solutions for Woolworths Prestons previously and an acoustic panel solution for another busy Dan Murphy’s store, the Frenchs Forest site didn’t hesitate to choose AcoustiSorb for noise absorption.
Just as the name suggests, AcoustiSorb uses sound-absorbing properties to keep sound within its core. While the outer skin comprises perforated aluminium, the core comprises environmentally friendly recycled PET to absorb sound. The result is an NRC rating of up to >0.9. The pre-coloured panels in ‘Surf Mist’ also mean no additional painting post-installation. Consequently, AcoustiSorb is one of the most environmentally friendly and cost-effective noise absorption solutions available today.
Thanks to AcoustiSorb’s lightweight modular unit design, ModularWalls and Rohrig achieved the noise absorption solution within budget and project timeframe.
All in all, ModularWalls AcoustiSorb was the perfect solution to HVAC noise reaching surrounding residents.
