Seed Academy ELC was developed on a battleaxe-shaped block on a busy street, with the building and outdoor play areas arranged to maximise the available space. Playgrounds were positioned towards the front of the development, with a neighbouring property to the rear and roads around much of the remaining boundary.
Managing the potential impact of outdoor play noise on neighbouring residents was a key consideration. The project called for a noise barrier boundary solution that supported the acoustic design alongside safety, security and presentation.
