A noise wall was required for the McDonald’s restaurant in Annerley, QLD, to shield the surrounding neighbours from vehicular noise. Plus, provide a sophisticated backdrop for their car park and drive-thru. With their contemporary architectural values, this was not the first time that ModularWalls supplied solutions for McDonald’s, including projects in McDonald’s Orange (NSW), McDonald’s Kellyville (NSW), McDonald’s Sandgate (QLD) and McDonald’s Moss Vale (NSW).
So, ModularWalls was once more engaged in supplying a noise wall solution that combined high acoustic performance with an immaculate aesthetic finish. Reaching 2.7m high and utilising their proprietary AcoustiMax wall panels, the acoustic attenuation requirements were comfortably achieved.
Furthermore, while the design achieves a commercial-grade acoustic solution, the sleek design delivers residential aesthetics, negating the concern of an imposing industrial structure for the surrounding residents. Following the natural undulation of the land, the noise wall gently steps during installation and is finished in corporate colours.
