SlimWall acoustic fencing with integrated retaining walls used for entire property development

The Huntlee residential development by LWP Property Group, situated within the idyllic Hunter Valley, had a goal to to create a premium master planned community offering the very best in modern living, and were keen to differentiate themselves from other nearby developments.

LWP conducted a comprehensive search on fencing alternatives and approached the team at SlimWall. Following a successful trial across display houses, LWP decided to commit to SlimWall across the entire Huntlee Development, and are delighted with the results.

As a premium fencing alternative boasting a designer finish, SlimWall fitted the brief perfectly, leading the market in five main categories:


Noise attenuation

Conscious of the development’s high floor space ratio and smaller sized backyards, LWP decided on acoustic fencing in order to reduce neighbour noise. With proven acoustic benefits, SlimWall blocks urban noise four times more effectively than common fencing products, with a 20+dB reduction, bringing a sense of tranquillity to any backyard oasis.


Premium aesthetics

The pleasing, premium and customisable aesthetics of SlimWall was the primary reason LWP selected it over other timber or metal alternatives. Other architectural elements such as lighting, gates, slats and letterboxes were also easily included which enhanced the finished design.


Integrated retaining walls

After learning that with integrated retaining panels, SlimWall is capable of retaining soil loads up to 500mm high, LWP decided to use it for every lot in the property development, as opposed to limiting it to the dress circle and corner lots. They saved significant costs compared to traditional retaining solutions, as well as minimising material waste and trade diversification.



Due to its lightweight composition and modular configuration, installation is incredible fast and simple. The SlimWall team assisted with onsite training for the installation to develop the hands-on skills of Huntlee Academy employees.

The academy supports disadvantaged locals and was a key reason LWP received considerable local support for the new Huntlee community. Thereafter, the SlimWall team provided 24/7 technical support across all project areas.
