Coastal barn dream becomes a reality with EstateWall®

It took this family of seven a long time to find the perfect location to build their coastal barn dream, but it was worth the wait. Parents to five small children Lauren and her partner wanted to give their kids the best of both worlds. The unique experience a rural property has to offer and the feeling of a coastal resort. Building their home on an acre, the kids have space to play and explore, and this dream home will have plenty to offer during their teenage years.

This coastal barn utilises natural materials throughout, including a white on white colour scheme and complementing brass fixtures. So, this grand home needed a grand front entrance to complete the coastal barn look, and EstateWall was a perfect choice.

On-time and within budget

When building a new home, timeframes and budgets are always at the forefront of planning and decision making. Still, Lauren also wanted to ensure the front gate and entrance weren’t an afterthought and complemented the house, matching the vision she had for their coastal barn dream. With timeframe, budget, and design, Lauren reached out to ModularWalls to make her vision a reality.

Streamlined quotes

Lauren found the quote process to be straightforward and stress-free. After providing the required measurements and discussing her design with the sales team, EstateWall was perfect for this coastal barn dream. EstateWall offers:

  • quick installation
  • cost-effective pricing
  • customisation options

Coastal barn dream customisation

As with any home build or renovation, keeping on budget and set timeframes is crucial for a successful project. However, the versatility and customisation options of ModularWalls won Lauren over.

The flexibility of ModularWalls meant Lauren could create the grand entrance she had envisaged. She chose to customise the front fence with 1.5metre high EstateWall in a high gloss white subway tile in a herringbone pattern on the front. Then a rendered finish was applied on the back of the EstateWall, colour matched to the house. Along with flush post tops and wall capping, the finishing touch saw exterior brass lights integrated with the EstateWall connecting the fence to the home.

Overall, this coastal barn entrance showcases you can achieve a high-end finish with a bit of planning and big ideas. All with quick installation and while staying on budget.
